Step 1. Warming –up: Have a free talk with the students before class.
Step 2. It’s time for class. Class begins. Good morning, boys and girls. In this class we’re going to have Unit 6 I’m more outgoing than my sister. (Section A 3a-4) ( written on the blackboard ).
Step 3. Boys and girls, do you have a twin brother or sister? Do you like twin brothers or sisters? Are you interested in them? What do you want to know about them? Here is a photo of my students. They are twin brothers. This is Cui Chao and this is Cui Yue. Can you guess who is older? Cui Chao is older than Cui Yue. Please look at the chart and have a free talk about the twin brothers.

Step 4. Boys and girls, we have known something about the twin brothers. Please look at these pictures. Here are photos of the twin sisters. This is Liu Li and this is Liu Ying. Do you want to know about them? Let me help you. As you can see, in some ways they look the same, and in some ways they look different. “way”, in some ways, can you tell me what the word “way” means? It means … “某个方面”. They both have black eyes and black hair, although Liu Li’s hair is shorter than hers. “hers” means Liu Ying’s hair, her hair. It means…“她的”. Liu Li’s favorite subjects are physics and chemistry. Physics means… “物理”. And Liu Ying’s favorite subject is P.E. However, they both enjoy going to parties. “however” means… “然而”. They have some things in common. They have some same things. “in common” means… “共有的”.
